CFTSS is designed to help children and teens overcome emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. Services are flexible, delivered at home or in the community, and tailored to meet each child’s unique needs. CFTSS focuses on building skills, strengthening families, and supporting long-term success, so children can thrive in school, at home, and in life.

Showing signs of social, behavioral, or emotional challenges
CFTSS Services
Other Licensed Practitioner (OLP)
Professional evaluations/ assessments and therapy to address emotional and mental health needs.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation(PSR)
Skill-building support to enhance social, emotional, and daily functioning.
Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST)
Individualized, goal-oriented care to help manage mental health challenges.
Family Peer Support Services (FPSS)
Guidance and emotional support from experienced peers who understand family struggles.
Youth Peer Support and Training (YPST)
Mentoring, advocacy, and skill development from peers who’ve been through similar challenges.
Crisis OLP
Assistance following urgent emotional or behavioral situations.

Who can make a CFTSS referral?
Anyone can refer someone for CFTSS services, including parents, guardians, or the individual seeking help themselves.
Does my loved one need a diagnosis to qualify for CFTSS?
No, a formal diagnosis is not required. However, a clinical assessment will be conducted to determine the best services based on your loved one’s needs and challenges.
Where are CFTSS services provided?
Services can be provided wherever is most convenient for your loved one - in your home, community settings, or at our facilities.
Can CFTSS services take place during school hours?
Yes, services can be provided during school hours.
How long do CFTSS services last?
Services continue as long as they're needed and the participant remains eligible. This could be until goals are met, circumstances change, or they age out of the program.
Are there any costs for CFTSS services?
No, services are fully covered for individuals with Medicaid or Child Health Plus.
Can CFTSS services be provided if my child is already receiving other services?
Yes, CFTSS services can complement other treatments and support your child may already be receiving.
